Heather Leach is a Level II Certified Centered Riding Instructor who has been riding since 1983. She and her husband Mike own and operate Seven Pines Stables. They welcomed their new son - Aidan - into the world January 10, 2006 and their daughter - Ainsley - on April 27, 2009.

Heather grew up riding and working through the ranks of Pony Club and has also been very involved in the draft horse world. Showing, training and driving draft horses up to a team. She enjoys dressage, but has also shown hunter/jumper as well as a bit of eventing. This broad base gives her knowledge to draw from when teaching her current clients.

Heather will be getting back in the saddle this spring/summer after the birth of her daughter - so she will be working at home with her 17h bay Oldenburg mare, Gala.

Heather will also be starting her 3 yr old Oldenburg filly - Dezirae, with the hopes of doing the FEI 4 yr old with her next year. She is a lovely filly who shows lots of promise.

So she may not be out on the show circuit this summer but will be busy training and preparing at home for the season in 2010.

Heather is teaching and training full time at Seven Pines Stables and runs a riding school with approximately 70 students. The students range from children to adults and are from beginners to the more advanced. She has a few of her students that are showing dressage as well as a few that would like to work on the eventing. Also there is a large number that love the hunter/jumper world.

Heather and Mike also breed and raise Oldenburg Warmbloods.

HEATHER receives her LEVEL II CR INSTRUCTORS -July 2009

We are pleased to announce that Heather has received her LEVEL II CENTERED RIDING INSTRUCTOR LEVEL. Heather has been a Level I CR instructor for a number of years now and has now become a LEVEL II.

There are very few Centered Riding Instructors in Ontario and fewer Level II's so we are so pleased to be able to offer lessons by a Level II instructor.

Sarah is a young instructor that is just beginning her teaching career. She has ridden since the age of 6 and has many years of riding and horsemanship experience.

Sarah has been teaching at Seven Pines Summer Camp for the last two years and assisting Heather in lessons for the last year as well.

Sarah has shown in the hunter/jumper ring as well as worked with many young and green horses. Her latest accomplishment was a Reserve Champion in the Hunter Division with Quigley at the 2008 Seven Pines Show Series.

We are happy to have Sarah joining our Seven Pines team and starting by teaching for us on Saturday mornings.

She has a great way with the riders and everyone loves working with her, so it will be great to see her students advance over the coming months.
